Looking to hunt, fish, or float the rivers here in Montana? This site will have all the information needed for you.

Montana River Permits
Interested in learning more about what trips Montana’s rivers Hold? This will have all the trip and permit info you need.

American Whitewater
American Whitewater holds tons of great info about rivers across the country, allowing you to do a little more research on what is around you, or finding destinations for your upcoming travels! It is also home to fantastic blogs about the current state of local rivers and what actions can be taken to protect them.

Recreation.gov – Permits
Recreation.gov holds permit info and applications for not only backcountry campsites, but most importantly, some of the most sought after river trips in the lower 48. Examples being the Middle Fork of the Salmon, The Selway, and many more.

NOAA River Data Sites
NOAA is the resource we use for checking flow levels and forecasts for the rivers we love. Once you find the station which works best for you, play around with the “make my river page” option, there are some great charts showing the overall health of the river this year. Other reputable sources include USGS and SnoFlo.
